Gloria Loring, Mom of Robin Thicke

Gloria Loring (www.glorialoring.com) is clearly proud of her son, R&B star Robin Thicke (www.RobinThicke.com). When the video for his hit song “Blurred Lines”came under attack for being too risque, the former star of “Days of Our Lives” tweeted a positive New York Times article about her baby (with ex-husband Alan Thicke of the ’80s sitcom “Growing Pains”). Earlier she posted on Facebook about his performance at the BET Awards. The controversy has only fueled attention and sales for Thicke (married to high school sweetheart, actress Paula Patton) and his music (women love him!), a fact Gloria would likely credit to the power of coincidence.

We asked Gloria what she thought about all the commotion when we saw her recently at the Women at Woodstock conference. This interview even made the national media, including USA Today. Watch our full interview:

In WHOA!’s earlier interview with her about her new book, coincidentally (?) published as the song hit the charts, “Coincidence is God’s Way of Remaining Anonymous” (you can buy it here),  Gloria shares her belief that coincidence will lead us to just where we need to be in our lives and journeys. Watch our interview with her:
